Fluffing pillows is like giving your head a high-five from comfort — yet it’s often overlooked. Here’s how to keep yours fresh, fluffy, and oh-so-inviting.
What you need
✔ Universal Cleaner with Atomiser (for pre-treat + deodorising)
✔ Sensitive Laundry Liquid
✔ Tennis or dryer balls
✔ Baking soda
✔ General Cloth
Step-by-step guide
Step 1
Check the care label — most down, feather, and synthetic pillows are machine-washable, but memory foam isn’t.
Step 2
Spot-treat stains and deodorise with Universal Cleaner and let sit for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Wash two pillows at a time with Sensitive Laundry Liquid on a gentle cycle.
Step 4
Spin twice to remove excess water.
Step 5
Dry on low heat with tennis or dryer balls to restore fluff.
Step 6
For foam pillows, spot clean only, then air-dry flat.
Step 7
Between washes, spray with Universal Cleaner, leave a few minutes, then wipe with a damp General Cloth.
Pro tip
Air pillows in the sun to deodorise and kill mites.
Safety first: Always check your pillow’s care label first — foam pillows can be damaged in the wash, and heat can cause clumping or shrinkage.
Other notes
• Use pillow protectors to extend time between washes.
• Wash every 3–6 months for the fluffiest sleep
• Replace pillows every 1–2 years, or when they lose support, for the healthiest rest.
