How to clean windows inside and out

Windows are your home’s natural spotlight—let’s make sure they shine. With Koh’s streak-free system, you’ll have sparkling panes inside and out in no time.

What you need

✔ Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner and Foaming Spray Bottle
✔ Dusting Mitt
✔ Scrubby Pads
✔ Squeegee

Step-by-step guide

Step 1
Dust frames and sills with your Dusting Mitt to clear loose dirt.

Step 2
Spray a line of Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner down the middle of the glass.

Step 3
Using a soaking wet Scrubby Pad, work the cleaner into a foamy lather across the surface.

Step 4
Flip to the scrubbing side of the pad for stubborn marks and build-up.

Step 5
Switch to the Squeegee: starting at the top, sweep down in smooth rainbow arcs, wiping the blade between swipes.

Step 6
Repeat inside and out until panes are crystal clear.

Pro tip

• Pick a cloudy day for cleaning — slower drying means fewer streaks.

Safety first: Use a sturdy ladder and always have someone spot you for high windows. Home cleaning shouldn’t be a pane—head to our blog for more transparent tips trusted by over a million Aussie households.

Other notes

Direction trick: Always squeegee the inside glass side-to-side and the outside top-to-bottom. That way, if streaks show up, you’ll know which side they’re on.

Seasonal note: Avoid cleaning windows in extreme heat or direct sun (fast drying = streaks) and skip freezing days (water can frost).
