How to clean tile floors in the bathroom

Bathroom tiles can go from gleaming to grimy fast, but with the right routine you’ll keep them sparkling (and slip-free).

What you need

✔ Spray Mop filled with Universal Cleaner
✔ Green Mop Pad (deep clean) or Blue Mop Pad (everyday clean)
✔ Grout Brush (for grout lines)

Step-by-step guide

Step 1
Vacuum up any dust, hair, and debris first.

Step 2
(Optional) For grout lines: spray Universal Cleaner directly, leave for 2–3 minutes, then scrub with the Grout Brush.

Step 3
Attach your chosen mop pad — green for a deeper clean, blue for everyday.

Step 4
Give the floor a light spray — one spray covers roughly 1m².

Step 5
Mop back and forth with smooth strokes.

Pro tip

Regular grout attention saves you from a deep-scrub battle later. Keep a Grout Brush handy so build-up never stands a chance.

Safety first: Wet bathroom floors are slippery — wear shoes with grip or use a non-slip mat while cleaning.

Other notes

Soap scum can leave tiles looking dull even after a mop. If you notice a cloudy film, spray Universal Cleaner directly on the area and buff with a Bathroom Cloth before mopping over. A quick mop weekly helps stop grime from becoming slippery build-up.
