How to clean a rangehood

Your rangehood is the front line against kitchen grease and smoke — but it doesn’t take long for filters, buttons and stainless surfaces to collect sticky build-up. Luckily, Universal Cleaner makes short work of it.

What you need

✔ Universal Cleaner with Atomiser
✔ General Cloth
✔ Glass Cloth (or Ultra Pro Cloth for a streak-free finish)

Step-by-step guide

Step 1
Ensure the rangehood is switched off and place an old towel underneath the edge to catch drips.

Step 2
Spray Universal Cleaner liberally across exterior surfaces using the Atomiser and leave for 3–5 minutes.

Step 3
Wipe down with a Green Cloth, using the Scrubby Corner for stubborn grease.

Step 4
Buff stainless steel surfaces with a White Cloth or Ultra Pro Cloth for a streak-free shine.

Pro tip

Clean your rangehood filters every month to keep suction strong and your kitchen air fresh.

Safety first: Always unplug or switch off your rangehood before cleaning.

Other notes

Regular cleaning prevents grease build-up that can affect performance and create odours. Wash filters separately in warm soapy water or the dishwasher if safe.
