Step-by-step guide

Step 1
Fill the kettle with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water.

Step 2
Boil, then switch off and let sit for 15–20 minutes.

Step 3
Empty and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed for stubborn limescale.

Step 4
Refill with fresh water, boil and discard. Repeat once more.

Step 5
Unplug the kettle for exterior cleaning.

Step 6
Spray Universal Cleaner liberally over the outside and leave for 2–3 minutes.

Step 7
Wipe down with a General Cloth, using the scrubby corner for stubborn marks.

Pro tip

Descale your kettle once a month to keep it energy efficient and your cuppa tasting fresh. ✨

Safety note: Ensure the kettle is unplugged before cleaning the exterior. Allow boiled water and vinegar solution to cool slightly before handling.
