Whether it’s your daily commuter or your weekend escape, your bike deserves better than a coat of road grime. A quick Koh clean keeps it running smooth, looking sharp and free from the gunk that slows you down.
What you need
✔ Universal Cleaner
✔ Atomiser Spray Bottle
✔ General Cloth
✔ Diamond Sponge (optional for tougher spots)
✔ Warm water for rinsing
Step-by-step guide
Step 1
Park your bike in a shaded area and make sure it’s cool to the touch.
Step 2
Spray Universal Cleaner over the frame, rims and handlebars — avoid direct contact with the chain or gears.
Step 3
Let it sit for 1–2 minutes to break down dirt and road grease.
Step 4
Use the non-scratch scrubby corner of your General Cloth to lift off stuck-on grime.
Step 5
For stubborn build-up, use your Diamond Sponge gently on metal areas (never on paintwork).
Step 6
Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with the soft side of your cloth.
Pro tip
Give your chain a quick lube after cleaning to keep it spinning smoothly and rust-free.
Safety note: Don’t soak or pressure-wash your bike — it can damage bearings and cables.
Other notes
You can also use Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner for this clean if you prefer a foam, wash and rinse approach.
