Hairbrushes and combs collect more than just hair — they hold onto oils, styling products and residue that can make clean hair dirty again. A Koh clean breaks down build-up and keeps your grooming tools fresh and hygienic.
What you need
✔ Universal Cleaner
✔ General Cloth
✔ Ziplock bag or small container
✔ Cold water tap
Step-by-step guide
Step 1
Remove any trapped hair from brushes and combs.
Step 2
Place the brushes and combs into a ziplock bag or small container and pour in Universal Cleaner until all items are covered. Avoid overfilling to save solution.
Step 3
Leave to soak for around five minutes.
Step 4
Pour the used cleaner down the sink and wipe each item with a fresh General Cloth to remove loosened oils and residue.
Step 5
Rinse thoroughly under a cold water tap.
Step 6
Re-wipe each brush or comb with the clean side of the General Cloth until dry.
Pro tip
Clean your brushes and combs every fortnight to prevent oil and product build-up transferring back to freshly washed hair.
