How to clean dust from blinds

Blinds are dust magnets. Add a kitchen into the mix and suddenly they’re grease magnets too. The combo? Sticky grime city. Luckily, it’s nothing Universal Cleaner can’t handle.

What you need

✔ Universal Cleaner with Atomiser
✔ General Cloth

Step-by-step guide

Step 1
Close the blinds so you can access one flat surface at a time.

Step 2
Spray Universal Cleaner liberally across the slats — especially in kitchens where grease builds up.

Step 3
Let sit for 3–5 minutes to loosen dust, grease, and grime.

Step 4
Wipe clean with your General Cloth, flipping it as it picks up dirt.

Step 5
Repeat on the reverse side.

Pro tip

Regular cleaning prevents dust and grease buildup — saving you from a dreaded weekend-long blind rescue mission.

Safety first: Always test a small area first if blinds are delicate, painted, or coated.

Other notes

A quick weekly wipe keeps dust from setting in. For vertical blinds, work top to bottom to avoid streaks.
