Gas cooking is brilliant for flavour, not so much for the greasy aftermath. Luckily, Koh’s Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner is tough on splatters and burnt-on spills - no toxic fumes required.
What you need
✔ Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner with Foamer
✔ General Cloth or Dish Sponge
✔ Diamond Sponge
Step-by-step guide
Step 1
Make sure all burners are switched off and cool.
Step 2
Remove burner caps and trivets.
Step 3
Apply Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner with the Foamer across the stovetop.
Step 4
Let it sit for 2-3 minutes to break down grease.
Step 5
Wipe clean with a General Cloth or Scrubby Pad.
Step 6
Use the Diamond Sponge on stubborn burnt-on bits.
Step 7
Wipe burner caps and trivets with Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner, rinse and dry.
Step 8
Finish by wiping the stovetop with a damp General Cloth to remove residue.
Pro tip
For a streak-free finish, buff the stovetop with a dry side of your General Cloth after rinsing.
Safety first: Avoid using the Diamond Sponge on stainless steel surfaces as it will likely cause micro abrasions.
Other notes
Wrap a General Cloth around a Grout Brush and apply the bristle side to the grout lines of the stove top to remove trapped grease and grime.
You can also use the Koh Universal Cleaner if you prefer a no-rinse spray and wipe approach.
