I can't get my Koh Protect Pump to work
Each Protect Pump comes with a 'safety collar'. This is the ring around the neck of the pump which prevents it from being pressed. Make sure this ring is removed before trying to dispense Protect Skin. You can choose to keep the collar to place on the pump when not in use, or dispose of in your recycling bin. If you are experiencing any other difficulties with your pump, please contact our care team.
Do I need to reapply Protect Skin throughout the day?
You only need to apply Protect Skin once every 8 hours. Protect Skin will be removed from your hands as part of the skin's natural exfoliation process.
Can I feel the Koh Protect shield on my skin?
No, Protect Skin has been formulated to dry quickly once applied to your hands, and you shouldn’t notice it on your skin.
Can I wash my hands after I apply Protect Skin?
Yes you can. Protect Skin will remain on your hands for 8 hours, even when washed with soap and water throughout the day.
Can I use Protect Skin on any other areas of my body?
We recommend to use Protect Skin on your hands only. Keep clear of eyes and mouth, and do not ingest.
How do I use Protect Skin?
Apply a single pump of Protect Skin to clean, dry hands. Rub in until dry for 8 hours of protection.
What type of bacteria does Koh Protect kill?
Koh Protect's patented formula has been clinically proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria including e-coli, salmonella, enterica, campylobacter and pseudomonas. Note, Koh Protect has not been proven effective against viruses such as COVID-19.
Does Koh Protect kill Covid-19?
Koh Protect Surface and Skin has not been proven to kill viruses such as COVID-19. Koh Protect Surface and Skin have been clinically proven to protect surfaces from 99.9% of bacteria including e-coli, salmonella, enterica, campylobacter and pseudomonas.
Does Koh Protect contain alcohol?
Both Koh Protect Skin and Koh Protect Surface contain a tiny percentage (<0.5%) of a naturally derived alcohol to act as a surfactant.
